It’s not easy to transform your home into something you love. NONAGON.style is here at every turn to help you design your dream home – whether that’s from starting out with inspiration, or finding those finishing pieces.

Our international team works diligently to find what’s hot in home design. We are a cluster of home owners, design lovers, and aesthetes who want to provide a platform where beautiful design is accessible to all. We launched our website in May 2016, carving out a corner of the internet for you to find the inspiration, ideas and insight to turn your house into a place you are happy to call home.

Meet Our Team

Gordon believes in making big things happen. With a pedigree in architecture and design, he strives to unite people from different backgrounds to make his dreams come to fruition. He has good faith that everybody brings something special to their job and believes that good teamwork can make the impossible happen.

As a frequent traveler, Gordon has visited over 100 cities around the world exchanging ideas and gaining inspiration. But at heart he is a homebody, who loves to relax and stretch out on the sofa. At the end of a busy day of brainstorming his next big adventure, he likes to unwind with a glass of fine wine, or a delicious whisky. Gordon finds concentrated meditation by playing Candy Crush.

Gordon spent many formative years in Canada learning about different cultures and walks of life. After many years working in the Asia Pacific region and beyond, he has now settled in the paradise of sights and sounds; Hong Kong is home.

Chief Executive Officer

Curtis is a multipotentialite who refuses to be one thing at a time, he has been head of business operations, digital marketer, business strategist, creative director, UX consultant and project curator for international brands, digital agencies, corporations and startups.

As a caffeine based lifeform, his average work day is fueled by Coke and coffee. When he’s not pacing the corridor thinking, he can be found amongst a pile of hastily scribbled notes and rough drafts. Work efficiency is severely hampered without instant access to dual display and a space to spread out his notepads, memo jotters, and sketchbooks.

Curtis has a soft spot for well-written lines in books, movies and lyrics. And his favorite number is infinity plus one. He aspires to own a home of minimal style but realizes it will remain a dream until the day he can also own a second home to store everything.

General Manager

Kay channels his inner Goku to power through his tasks, which is how he maintains his perfectly spikey hair and playful demeanor in times of stress. Day to day, Kay’s work in the office includes many different tasks. They range from analyzing and planning, to investigating and negotiating.

Raised in Sydney, and having spent much of his life in Australia, Kay has adopted a laid back attitude to life.  His work is greatly inspired by Tadao Ando’s simple and Zen interior designs. So much so that his favorite colors are firmly in the grayscale palette.

A self-confessed caffeine addict, Kay keeps a cup beside him at all times for his next coffee injection. He is not an early morning person, but it is always made easier when he gets to see the smile on his baby daughter’s face.

Isobel is a dancer, dreamer and cereal eater. She has a penchant for pretty colors and an obsession with jazz music — everything is better when Count Basie’s playing.

From the cooler climes of the British Isles, she has now found her way to Asia. Hong Kong has been her adopted home for the last few years, where she has fallen in love with the humble tram as her favorite method of transport, although it’s a close tie with the Star Ferry that patters across the harbor.

Isobel is an editor on our NONAGON.style team, and loves to share her latest finds in home decor. Three things you can always find in Isobel’s handbag: a notebook, lip balm, and handfuls of stray bobby pins.

Annisa is a yoga teacher, anti-aging consultant, cat-lover, and practical dreamer. She loves nature and spends her spare time wandering in the mountains.

Helping people to get back in shape is one of Annisa’s biggest aspirations. She cares about work life balance and will spread this message to anyone who will listen. Additionally, Annisa has extensive years of experience in marketing under her belt, having covered many different industries giving her extensive exposure to the needs of the business. She is a timeline freak who believes in maximizing the given resources.

First thing in the morning she drinks three glasses of water and keeps drinking an unlimited amount of water throughout the day. But when she drinks wine, she forgets the water!

Public Relations

Sophia loves a challenge. Whenever a new project comes her way, she is determined to take it with fresh eyes, and she does not believe in cookie cutter designs – because one size never fits all. She brings to NONAGON.style a wealth of interior design knowledge and an impressive portfolio of design consultancy work.

When she’s not busy working, Sophia divides her time between Body Combat classes and spending time with her daughter. Family time is of utmost importance, and the Yeung-Washford tribe use travel as a way to connect, relax and learn new things all at the same time.

Tracy is a self-confessed workaholic, who simply wouldn’t be able to survive without music and friends. Pop songs and love ballads are the soundtrack to her life, when you can hear it above the noise of renovation and remodeling!

At her home you can get a sense of Tracy’s fascination with and fondness for cups, as she collects many different kinds. Her favorite design style is with clean white contemporary fittings and it is essential to have a comfy and cozy sofa to relax on at the end of a busy day. She also likes to have in her home a small bar area where she can entertain friends and pop open a bottle of wine.

The biggest styles guiding Tracy forward at the moment are the trends in smart home tech. She loves to see smart living incorporated into home design and wonders; where are those robot butlers of the future?

Administration and Finance

Celia is the gatekeeper who works tirelessly to plan out our budgets and balance the books. To make sure she stays free from any stress the office may cause, she likes to drink lemongrass tea and practice meditation.

In between the hiking, yoga and mindfulness, Celia enjoys trying different food from around the world. She especially likes to travel to Japan and Thailand to check out the markets and see the sights.

The most recent addition to Celia’s home is Momo the puppy. The tiny brown ball of fluff is a poodle who is still working out which toys are for chewing, and which ones are towels! Celia and Momo go for daily walks around the neighborhood.
