Kazuyo Sejima

Together with partner Ryue Nishizawa, Kazuyo Sejima founded Tokyo architecture studio SANAA in 1995. Since then, the duo have made their mark with the design of iconic buildings across the globe, including Toledo Museum of Art’s Glass Pavilion and the Serpentine Pavilion in London. In 2010, Kazuyo was awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize, making her the second woman in history to do so.
