A new media artist from Israel, Segal fuses art and technology. Exploring data, software, electronics and mechanics she builds installations and machines that connect both the physical and virtual worlds.
Segal graduated M.Sc. studies in Applied Arts & Sciences in San Francisco, an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Biology at Tel Aviv University in 2007 and the Interdisciplinary Program for fostering excellence (Tel Aviv University, 2005). After working as a researcher at Microsoft Innovation Labs and then teaching at the Bezalel School of Arts and Design, Segal forged a path exploring art through technology.
