Spanish born Patricia Urquiola is a trained architect and furniture designer. Urquiola has won numerous awards for her work in recent years, including ‘Designer of the Year’ by an array of esteemed international publications, and the Order of Isabella the Catholic’ by His Majesty the King of Spain. She now works out of her own studio in Milan, Italy, focusing in the field of design, exhibitions, art direction, and architecture.
