One Oak  3&4 B2

Design:

Over in Lebanon, located in the downtown center of Beirut, One Oak 3&4 B2 is a spacious duplex family house carefully crafted and designed by Askdeco interior design studio.

Over a 700m2 (7,535  ft2) floorplan, the home delivers a worldly vibrancy, a place where occupants can enjoy time off after they escape from the routines of work. The theme is a laid back look, perfectly curated with eclectic furniture and a balance of metals and marble. On one side of the house are views of the Mediterranean Sea, offering relaxation. However it’s also surrounded by history — the apartment is a quick walk away from the Roman ruins and the heart of the action in downtown Beirut.

Let’s delve into the decor of this home!

Simple Luxury

The first thing that catches your eye when you walk in has to be the exquisite view. The project is designed to make glory of the views around it, and the artworks on the wall. In a word, luxury fuses effortlessly with minimalism and creates a mystic and serene composition.

Views around all sides of the house offer something incredible!

The bedroom balcony provides a fresh breeze, and the bedside table offers funky stylish design.

Adventure Inspired

Merging vibrant modern decor with hints of traditional Moroccan, Arabesque and Grecian textures, the house is where the east and the west, while tradition and modernity blend. I love the look of the varied designs, looking as modern as they are timeless.

The house is decorated in clean stone floors fitted with contemporary furniture pieces in geometric designs. The chosen furnishings impart the room with an air of modernism that emphasizes the importance of individual experience.

Lighting

As we all know, light plays an important role within interior spaces. Our designer makes the most of the light by using floor-to-ceiling windows all the way around to bring natural light to the room and add real ambience to the decor. It’s an ideal choice for all those in a room with a view that presents offerings of abundant, beautiful natural light. Besides, the marble floor can also reflect the light and make the room feel more spacious.

Glass Elements

One of the most striking architectural features of the space is the use of glass, from windows to partition walls, and sliding doors to room dividers. Leaving the space to be flooded with sunlight, its transparency makes the rooms bright, airy and breathable in appearance and versatile in practical function.

Whether applied in the living room, in the bedroom or in the kitchen, it enhances the spaciousness of contemporary vibe by adding fabulous decorative accents to the design

I like the carpets and rugs in this space, as they follow Arabic traditions for a vintage look, but the pick of colors are like Pop Art for the modern space. It’s simplistic. It’s sophisticated. It’s perfect for the family who love the pops of color.

This home, with its spaces to relax, unwind, and eclectic designer feel, push this space up a notch.

Spiral Staircase with Style and Originality

The well-designed circular stairs component to the house not merely serve as the conduit between different areas, but also incorporates the modern and classic look into its design. Decorated in classic black, the staircase allows for high-contrast with the color white that dominates the home.

Final Thoughts

Everyone needs a place to dream and recharge. For this home owner, it takes a well-lit house, plenty of inspiring art, and gorgeous materials in and out. Designed around a panorama, the house presents a view of natural scenery and even anthropological sights, pulling us in to dwell on the earth poetically.
